Maybelline Master Strobing Stick

feature-image

Hi everyone,

I love highlighters so naturally when I saw this one from Maybelline I had to pick one up, this is the Maybelline Master Strobing Stick and it’s available in two shades…

100 Light Iridescent – perfect for fair skin tones

200 Medium Nude glow – medium to darker skin tones

I picked the shade medium nude glow, now I do have fair skin but I really liked the colour and to be honest I think this shade will give my face a nice golden glow.

Straight away upon opening the stick it reminds me of the Benefit Watts Up highlighter stick!

Perhaps a budget friendly alternative at £6.99

I am really impressed with the texture of this stick it goes from a smooth creamy cream to a powder which blends effortlessly into the skin. This is brilliant for people who like me tend to stay away from cream highlighters as I don’t like the stickiness and weight (I’m hoping you know what I mean by that ha ha).

You really don’t need to apply much with this stick, a little goes a long way which is a bonus really as their isn’t much product, a bit of a disappointment I must say.

I love the way this looks, even on my fair skin tone. It gives me a natural healthy golden glow without overdoing it.  The best bit about this stick is you can go lightly and blend out loads for a really natural glow, or you can layer it up for more of an intense strobe effect without feeling like a glitter bomb.

Overall I am really impressed with this highlighting stick but I am not sure it will tempt me away from my highlighting powders.

Let me know what you think.

Much Love
